Shriff’s tea egg originated started in 2001, the police station director Liao started to try boil the tea eggs by using local traditional soy sauce for his colleagues at any time since they were from distant locations and having breakfast was not convenient. Then, people who visited the police station started to spread out the tea eggs and become one of Taiwan’s well known food by news media.
In 2010, Chief’s tea eggs was formally established. Then running by professional management team to keep the core value, but also with persistence of quality selection. We only use M-size eggs coming from 6 month-old chicken, knock the shell of the eggs smoothly and use special formula for Chinese herbal medicine to marinade the egg. Then to export a SOP standard operating procedure.
